Brother-in-laws Scott Reinfeld and Steven Rhodes started Lux Tipi in late 2016. The Lux Men have known each other for over a decade and became close friends over the years. Steven helped Scott build his recording studio and about seven years later, married Scott’s younger sister, Mandy. On paper, Scott and Steven might come across as polar opposites. Steven grew up playing baseball, loves to hunt, fish, and has always owned a big truck. Scott on the other hand, grew up playing indoor roller hockey, loves technology, and used to drive a two-door Honda. Over the years, the two realized their different interests, groups of friends, and talents were actually a great recipe for business. When good friend John Gandy owner of JGE in Tallahassee, Florida told them about Nordic Tipis, Scott and Steven knew right away they would finally start cooking!
